FAQ

Still have more questions? Talk to our course team.

Talk to us
Do I need prior experience in television?

No. Our essentials courses start from the basics of signal flow, camera language and talkback. Intensive courses assume you have run at least one live event.

What equipment will I train on?

You train on broadcast vision mixers, pedestal cameras, replay servers, graphics engines and a full talkback system, plus a streaming encoder chain.

How large are the groups?

We cap every course at eight learners per gallery so everyone spends real time on the switcher or the director’s chair.

Can you train a whole production team on our site?

Yes. Our Studio Residency package can be delivered in your own studio or venue anywhere in the United Kingdom. Contact us with your team size and goals.

Do I receive a certificate?

Every learner who completes the live assessment receives a course certificate and written tutor feedback.
